The Catholic Community of Mansfield St. Peter’s presented a unique challenge to accommodate several different users groups under a unified design and site. The school’s marketing manager wanted to keep the primary organizational units separate and restrict users to specific areas of the website.
Crundwell Digital created a multisite environment where the marketing and technological directors could oversee all operations of the site, but still enable other users to contribute content to the website. We also created sub-sites for the school’s newspaper, athletic department and will offer teachers their own sub-sites for the 2013-14 academic year.
In addition to the website, Crundwell Digital created a full social media presence with Facebook pages for the church, schools and alumni department. Per the client’s request we only created one Twitter account for the organization but expect other units like the athletic department to also get their own account.
Since the initial launch of the website, we’ve added The Events Calendar as an integrated events calendar listing, and developed an eCommerce website for the school’s Parents Club. Their first major fundraiser generated over $3,000 in sales the first month.
Finally, we are offering ongoing consulting and maintenance services to the school’s staff to help them fully understand what tools are available to them and how they can best utilize their productivity.
